How to play
Tap a square, then tap a number. Fill every row, every column and every three-by-three box with the numbers 1 to 9, using each one once.
If a number you enter clashes with one already on the board, yours is marked — so you find a mistake when you make it rather than twenty minutes later. The printed numbers are never marked; they are always right. The board never fills anything in for you and never tells you an answer.
Your progress is kept in this browser, on this device. Close the tab and come back — the puzzle will be where you left it. Nothing is sent anywhere and there is nothing to sign into.
Every one of these is proven solvable
Before any puzzle reaches this page, a second piece of software throws the answer away, re-solves the grid from empty, and counts how many solutions exist. If the count isn’t exactly one, the puzzle is destroyed and another is made in its place.
