What you may do with these

Everything on the free shelves is yours to print. Plainly:

YES — please

• Print them at home, as many times as you like, forever
• Print them for your class, this year and every year after
• Print them for your library, your church group, your book club
• Print them for the care home, retirement residence or day programme where you work, for as many residents as you have
• Print them for a hospital waiting room, a community centre, a shelter
• Hand them out, put them in a newsletter, leave a stack on a table
• Print them for someone who can’t print them for themselves

You do not need to ask me. You do not owe me anything. You do not need to credit me, though it’s kind when people do.

NO — please don’t

• Don’t sell them, or put them inside something you sell
• Don’t post the files somewhere else as your own downloads
• Don’t put them behind someone else’s paywall or email wall

These sets have no expiry date and I won’t withdraw this permission from anything already published. If a set is on this site today, what you’re allowed to do with it today is what you’ll be allowed to do with it in ten years.

For organisations that want it in writing

If your care home, school board or programme needs a licence document to file — something that names your organisation and says “unlimited printing” — that will be a paid tier alongside the printable packs. Email me and I’ll sort it out in the meantime: hello@bookatello.com

The books and the paid packs

Those are different. A book or a pack you bought is for you, your family and your own printing — not for resale and not for redistribution. The free sets above are the ones with the generous rules, and they’re deliberately good enough that most people never need anything else.
